Who are Britannia...
Having recognised the need to add value to freight services ordinarily offered by logistics companies, Britannia Bureau was founded in 2009 to fill this vital gap in the market. With our unrivalled expertise, we are able to deliver state of the art, fully digitalised Customs and international trade processes focussing on the delivery of solutions in this critical area, often times neglected by others.
Our principal business objective is to identify and deliver major cost savings and performance improvements whilst protecting our clients from the risk of non-compliance penalties.

As an independent, ‘free-from-freight’ company, we have a willingness to work in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders in order to explore and implement the most resilient solutions for your business – improving processes as well as your critical bottom line. Our ethical approach is driven by a team of highly trained professionals with unique skills, complemented by specialist systems – with proven results.

Our People...
We have a dedicated team of close to 100 employees across in the UK, amongst us experienced customs practitioners and logisticians with skills in the provision of best practice solutions, providing legislative support and advice within key areas such as customs warehousing, Returned Goods Relief and Inward Processing. This is underpinned by a dedicated data management team providing best in breed systems through MyFreeway.

Enhanced service provision by staff member gaining Maritime Law diploma
Premises move to accommodate growth

First team member gains Diploma in World Customs Compliance through staff development programme

CFSP authorised
Developed MyFreeway.com, a unique, client driven desktop business management tool
Ongoing expansion of global network, with development of a pan-European entity and presence in Asia-Pacific Rim and Americas
2018
Successfully manage 5% of all UK Customs declarations
2019
Further expanded systems capabilities through MyFreeway enabling Single Window Customs Reporting
Development of European network to support client growth post Brexit
2020
Opened up port operations to facilitate border clearances within the DP World London Gateway facility
Extensive scaling up to manage post Brexit business growth

Business successfully over doubles in capacity
